What is pullulan?
Pullulan is a plant-based substance derived from cassava extract. They are made from the plant-based cassava root, are free from animal substances (vegan) and comply with kosher and halal requirements. Certifications from independent inspectors are available and we can supply them on request.

How much powder fits into an empty capsule?

• Empty capsules of size 00 can hold approx. 650 mg of powder (0.91 ml per capsule).
• Empty capsules of size 0 can hold approx. 500 mg of powder (0.68 ml per capsule).

The content in mg per capsule depends strongly on the type of powder and the density of the powder. Some powders are heavier than others. The more finely ground the powder, the more of it can be filled into an empty capsule.

With 1 teaspoon of powder you can fill approx. 5 capsules of size 00 and 7 capsules of size 0.
