Use and dosage Pro Symbioflor Immun
Standard dose:Shake before use. Adults: 20 drops in a little water 3 times a day with meals. Do not exceed the dose, do not store above 30 °C before opening and do not freeze. Close the bottle tightly immediately after use and store in the fridge (2 °C – 8 °C). Once opened, keep for 3 weeks provided it is stored in the fridge. Avoid contact of the dropper with hands and mouth.
Ingredients
Composition per 60 drops: Bacterial culture lysate of Enterococcus faecalis DSM 16440 and E. coli DSM 17252 (per bacterial strain: 3.4 × 10^7 – 1.0 × 10^8 cells), lactose (0.017 g), zinc gluconate (3.3 mg zinc, 33% RI = reference intake).
Other ingredients (growth medium):
Lactose 1 H2O, sodium carbonate decahydrate, sodium chloride, magnesium sulfate 7 H2O, potassium chloride, calcium chloride 2 H2O, magnesium chloride 6 H2O, nutrient solution (peptone, yeast extract, potassium chloride, glucose 1 H2O) and purified water.

Tip to get the dropper flowing better at first: Hold the bottle at an angle and tap the bottom with your finger until a drop falls and air enters the bottle. The drops will then start coming out of the bottle at a steady rhythm.
Shake well before use. Once opened, keep for 3 weeks in the fridge. Do not touch the dropper.

Side effects
At the start of treatment, bloating, flatulence and mild stomach complaints may occur. These complaints resolve on their own. If necessary, temporarily reduce the dose.
Are the Symbioflor products suitable for people with intolerances or allergies?
The E.coli and Enterococcus faecalis bacteria are cultured on a growth medium that contains gluten, cow's milk (incl. lactose) and natural yeast (no live yeast cells). Theoretically, therefore, (b)traces(/b) may be present in the Symbioflor products. The levels of gluten, cow's milk and yeast are below the threshold that requires the ingredient to be stated on the label. In practice, this means that the Symbioflor products can be used without concern by people with related intolerances. In the case of allergies, this may in a rare case be different; occasionally the products are then not tolerated.
How many drops are in a bottle?
There are 600 drops in a bottle.
The liquid looks cloudy and smells odd, is that normal?
It is normal for the liquid to look cloudy and sometimes smell somewhat unpleasant. This is characteristic of the product and is caused by the sulphurous amino acid L-cysteine. Opening the bottle briefly to let the air out usually makes the smell disappear.
May I still use the product if there are small particles in it?
In the event of microbiological contamination, the product develops a distinctly unpleasant odour and flakes form in the solution. In that case, stop using the product.
Can I take Symbioflor with me when travelling?
Use while travelling/shelf life outside the fridge: max. 10 days.
Once opened, keep for 3 weeks in the fridge.
