Capsule shell: natural vegan pullulan (free from HPMC and gelatine). No excipients, fillers or glazing agents. Nothing else.

About the constituents — the facts

• Milk thistle (Silybum marianum): naturally contains a group of flavonolignans collectively called silymarin. Milk thistle has been linked to the liver within European herbal lore for centuries. Milk thistle extract supports the cleansing action of the liver and contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function.* *Health claims pending European authorisation .
• Immortelle (Helichrysum italicum): traditional Mediterranean herb with aromatic components. It naturally contains curcumenoids and essential oil fractions.
• Clove (Syzygium aromaticum): aromatic flower bud, traditionally used as a spice and in herbal preparations. It naturally contains eugenol as its characteristic component.

Important safety information

Because of the milk thistle component, this formula can interact with medicines. Read the following carefully before use:

• Milk thistle can influence CYP2C9, CYP3A4 and glucuronidation — medicines that are broken down along these routes can be metabolised differently. Examples: warfarin, some statins, ciclosporin, some chemotherapy agents, anti-epileptics
• With a bile duct disorder: consult your doctor first
• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• With existing liver disease, hepatitis, or medication that burdens the liver: do not start without consulting your doctor or practitioner
• With a known allergy to composites (Asteraceae) — milk thistle belongs to this family: do not use
• With a known allergy to clove or eugenol: do not use
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
